Cattle Receipts: 1168 Last week: 952 Last year: 1038
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls
steady. Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher, mostly 1.00-2.00 higher. Feeder
heifers under 550 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, 550-600 lbs 2.00 lower, and 600-
650 lb yearlings 5.00 higher. Feeder bulls steady to 3.00 lower.
Supply included about 550 feeder calves, 300 feeder yearlings, 90
replacement cows including 30 pair, 175 slaughter cows, 1 replacement bulls,
and 22 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 48 percent steers, 40
percent heifers, and 11 percent bulls. Near 34 percent of the run weighed over
600 lbs. Prices follow with weighted average price in parenthesis.
