Trends: According to the Federal-State Market News Service, compared to the
same sale one week ago, prices for Slaughter cows: 2.00 to 4.00 higher;
Slaughter bulls: Steady to 1.00 higher. Trade active with demand very good
for slaughter cows. Morning rains in the area resulted in much lower receipts
this week. Not enough feeder cattle on offer to fully establish trends.
Feeders mostly steady in a limited test.
Slaughter cows 51; Slaughter bulls 7; Total feeder supply 212; Feeder
steers/bulls 121; Feeder heifers 91; Feeder supply over 600 lbs 35;
Replacement/feeder cows 20.
