Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls
about steady on a light test. Feeder steers 1.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers
and bulls mixed from 6.00 higher to 2.00 lower, mostly steady to 4.00 higher.
Supply included about 510 feeder calves, 300 feeder yearlings, 30
replacement cows, 133 slaughter cows, and 5 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply
included 60 percent steers, 28 percent heifers, and 12 percent bulls. Near 37
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Prices follow with weighted average
price in parenthesis.
