Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/17/2012
 
Receipts:  3080    Two Weeks Ago:  3790    Year Ago:  3450
 
   Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 
higher. Demand was good from a large crowd of buyers with very good 
demand noted on pregnant tested open heifers. Quite a few slaughter cows 
and bulls continue to move to town with near 500 head in the mix. Supply 
included 52 percent steers, 42 percent heifers with near 76 percent over 
600 lbs. Next sale will be in two weeks.
