Compared to last week steer calves sold about steady with moderate
demand; light test on featherweight offerings. Heifer calves sold
steady to 2.00 higher with good demand. Yearling steers and heifers
light test and not fully established. Slaughter cows sold steady with
good demand. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 higher with good demand.
Total supply included 09% slaughter cows, 01% slaughter bulls,
less than 1% replacements and 89% feeders. Feeder supply 33% steers,
25% bulls and 42% heifers with 35% of feeders weighing over 600 lbs.
