Compared to last week steer calves sold steady to 5.00 higher with
very good demand; advance on lightweight calves under 600 lbs. Heifer
calves sold steady to 3.00 higher with good demand. Yearling steers
and heifers untested. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher
with very good demand. Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher
with very good demand.
Total supply included 09% slaughter cows, 03% slaughter bulls,
1% replacements and 87% feeders. Feeder supply 30% steers,
28% bulls and 42% heifers with 36% of feeders weighing over 600 lbs.
