Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/11/2012
 
Receipts:  2200    Two Weeks Ago:  1400    Year Ago:  1755
 
  Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 550 lbs sold 10.00 to 12.00 
higher, over 550 lbs sold steady to 5.00 higher. Heifers sold 2.00 to 
4.00 higher. Demand was good from start to finish from a large crowd of 
buyers. Majority of the sale consisted of top quality home raised calves, 
most were weaned with all shots. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Lightest run of slaughter cattle for past several months. Supply included 
88 percent feeders, balance on slaughter cattle. Of the feeders 57 
percent steers with 65 percent of the run over 600 lbs.

            Dec 29th Special Bred Heifer and Cow Auction.
