Receipts:  1300    Last Week:  1050    Year Ago:  1600

   Compared to last week:  Steers 8.00-16.00 lower.  Heifers steady 
3.00 higher, except few under 400 lbs 6.00 lower.  Demand light to
moderate.  Quality mostly plain to average.  Supply includes 21 percent
over 600 lbs; 45 percent heifers.
   Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher, except Boners 1.00-2.00 lower.  
Slaughter bulls 4.00 lower.  Packer demand moderate to good.  Total 
of 250 cows and bulls sold with 57 percent going to packers.
