Auction Report for Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Receipts:  346   Last Sale:  912    Last Year: 257   


   Compared to last week, Dairy cows sold 200.00-300.00 lower

on moderate demand. Overall quality not as good as previous

week. Bred heifers sold mostly steady compared on a very light

test. Demand was good. Trade was active. Wednesday's supply

included 128 fresh milking cows, 31 springing cows, 49 short

bred cows, 64 springing heifers, 28 short bred heifers,

30 open heifers, and 8 bulls. One hundred percent of reported

supply Holsteins unless otherwise noted. All sales sold on a

per head basis.

Approved: 1600.00-1900.00      

Medium:   1300.00-1550.00      

Common:   1000.00-1250.00       

Short Bred Cows: (1-3 months):

Supreme:  1850.00-1900.00   Few

Medium:   1100.00-1300.00

Common:    950.00-1100.00

Bred Cows: (4-6 months):
