Cattle Receipts: 1055 Last week: 625 Last year: 526
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 3.00-8.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-
7.00 higher. Feeder steers 3.00-7.00 higher. Feeder heifers 2.00-4.00 lower.
Supply included 400 feeder calves; 269 feeder yearlings; 164 replacement
cows, including over 60 pairs; 200 slaughter cows; 20 slaughter bulls; and 2
replacement bulls. Feeder supply consisted of about 40 percent English breed and
English crosses; 30 percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent
Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply about 55 percent steers and
bulls with 45 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
parenthesis.
