Feeder Cattle Auction for 06/23/2014



Receipts:  134    Week Ago:  359    Year Ago:  94



   Compared to last week, too few feeder cattle for a market test.

Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher.  Bulk of the receipts cows.

Demand good and the supply light.  Cows and bulls accounted for

65 percent of the run and feeders 35 percent.  In the feeder supply,

steers and bulls made up approximately 60 percent of the run; heifers

40 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 40 percent.



   Feeder Steers and Heifers mostly scarce.

Breaking    70-80          103.75-109.50  114.50-114.75

Boning      80-85          103.50-110.00  112.00-114.00  94.50-101.00

Lean        85-90           95.50-100.50                 84.00- 91.00



   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1450-2600 lbs 122.25-130.50,

High Dressing 134.75-138.25, Low Dressing 114.25.
