Palmyra - F and T Livestock Market

Feeder Cattle Auction for 08/18/2014



Receipts:  100    Week Ago:  1011    Year Ago:  112



   Compared to last week, too few feeder steers or heifers for a price

test.  Slaughter cows steady.  Bulk of the supply cows.  Demand good

and the supply light.  Cows and bulls accounted for 65 percent of the

run and feeders 35 percent.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls

made up approximately 75 percent of the run; heifers 25 percent; steers

and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 50 percent.



   Feeder Steers and Heifers scarce.

Breaking    70-80          121.50-124.00  125.50-129.50 108.00-112.50

Boning      80-85          114.50-119.50  124.00-128.25 108.00-112.00

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1200-2350 lbs 139.50-145.50,

Low Dressing 131.00-135.00.
