Compared to two weeks ago, slaughter steers and heifers sold steady. 
Compared to last week slaughter cows, bulls and feeder cattle sold 
steady. Trade was active with good demand. Slaughter steers and heifers 
accounted for 16 percent of the run; slaughter cows 26 percent; feeder 
cattle 57 percent; slaughter bulls 1 percent. In the feeder cattle 
supply, feeder steers accounted for 48 percent; feeder heifers 42 
percent: and feeder bulls 1 percent. Feeder cattle over 600 lbs 19 
percent.
