Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday

Thus far for Thursday, negotiated cash trade and demand was moderate in the Texas 
Panhandle. Compared to last week, live sales traded 1.00-3.00 lower at 119.00. Trade 
was light on light to moderate demand in Kansas, the Northern Plains and the Western 
Cornbelt. The latest established market in Kansas, was last week with live sales at 
122.00. In Nebraska a few early live sales traded from 120.00-121.00, however not 
enough sales for an adequate test. The latest established market in Nebraska was last 
week with live sales from 123.00-124.50 with dressed sales from 199.00-200.00. In 
Colorado compared to last week, live sales traded 2.00-2.50 lower from 120.00-121.00. 
The latest established market in Colorado was last week with live sales from 124.00-
125.00 and dressed sales from 198.00-200.00.
