Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 12/11/12
On Tuesday, negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive in the Southern Plains,
Colorado and the Western Cornbelt. Trading in Nebraska was limited on light
demand with a few sales at 123.00. Not enough sales to establish an adequate
market trend. The last established market was last week. In the Southern
Plains live sales sold at 124.00. The previous week, in Nebraska live sales
sold from 123.00-124.00. Dressed sales sold at 197.00, with a few at 198.00.
In Colorado, live sales sold from 123.00 to 123.50. The prior week, in the
Western Cornbelt, live sales sold from 123.00 to 124.00. Dressed sales sold
from 196.00 to 198.00.
