Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 5/13/14

On Tuesday negotiated cash trade was limited on light demand in Kansas and the 

Western Cornbelt. Trade was inactive on light demand in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska 

and Colorado. The latest established market in all regions was Friday with live sales 

in the Texas Panhandle and Kansas at mostly 146.00, and a few in Kansas up to 148.00. 

Nebraska live sales were mostly 149.00, with dressed sales at mostly 236.00-237.00. 

Colorado live sales were 149.00. In Iowa-Minnesota live sales ranged from 148.00-

150.00, with dressed sales from 234.00-238.00.
