Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 5/27/2014

On Tuesday negotiated cash trading in the Southern Plains was at a standstill. Last

week live sales sold from  143.00-144.00. In Nebraska on Tuesday trading was limited

on very light demand. A few early live sales sold at 143.00. Not enough to establish

a market trend. Last week live sales sold from 144.00-146.50 and dressed sales from 

230.00-234.00. Tuesday in Colorado and the Western Cornbelt trading was inactive on 

very light demand. Not enough sales for a market trend. Last week in Colorado live

sales sold from 144.00-145.00. In the Western Cornbelt live sales mostly at 145.00 

and dressed sales sold from 230.00-234.00.
