Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 6/6/2014



Friday trading in the Southern Plains and Nebraska was moderate to active on good

demand. Compared to last week in the Southern Plains live sales sold 2.00 higher

at 145.00. In Nebraska compared to Thursday's last reported market live sales sold

steady to 2.00 higher from 145.00 to 147.00. Compared to last week dressed sales 

sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher from 232.00 to 233.00 with the bulk at 232.00. On Friday

in Colorado trading and demand were moderate. Compared to last week live sales sold

2.00 higher at 147.00. In the Western Cornbelt on Friday trading was slow on moderate

demand. Compared to last week live sales sold steady to 1.00 higher from 145.00 to

146.00. Dressed sales sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher from 231.00 to 232.00.
