Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 6/13/2014



Friday in the Southern Plains trading was inactive on light demand. Not enough sales

for a market trend. The last reported market in the Southern Plains was on Thursday 

in the Texas Panhandle live sales sold at 147.00. In Kansas live sales sold at 

148.00. Friday in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt trading was limited on moderate 

demand. In Nebraska compared to Thursday, the last reported market, live sales sold 

steady at 150.00. Compared to last week dressed sales sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher from 

236.00 to 238.00. When compared to Thursday the last reported market in the Western 

Cornbelt live sales sold mostly 2.00 higher at 150.00. Dressed sales sold steady from

235.00 to 238.00. Friday in Colorado trading was inactive on light demand. A few live

sales sold fully steady at 150.00 when compared to Thursday the last reported market.
