Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Monday, 6/30/2014

On Monday negotiated cash trading was at a standstill in the Southern and Northern 

Plains feeding regions. In the Western Cornbelt trading was limited on very light 

demand. A few live sales sold at 154.00. However, not enough to fully establish a

market trend. The last fully reported market in all major feeding regions was last 

week. In the Texas Panhandle live sales sold at 154.00. In Kansas live sales sold 

from 154.00-155.00. In Nebraska live sales sold from 154.00-156.00 and dressed sales

sold at 245.00. In Colorado live sales sold at 156.00. In the Western Cornbelt live 

sales sold from 152.00-154.00 and dressed sales sold from 242.00-245.00.
