Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Thursday, 7/10/2014



On Thursday trading in the Texas Panhandle was slow on light demand. Compared to last 

week live sales sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower from 155.00 to 156.00. In Kansas trading and

demand were moderate. Compared to last week live sales sold 2.00 lower at 156.00. On

Thursday in Nebraska trading was active on moderate demand. Compared to last week 

live sales sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower from 155.00 to 157.00. The bulk of dressed sales

sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower from 246.00 to 249.00. In Colorado trading and demand were

moderate. Compared to last week live sales sold 1.50 to 2.50 at 156.50. On Thursday

in the Western Cornbelt trading was slow on moderate demand. Compared to last week

live sales sold steady to 2.00 lower from 154.00 to 157.00. Dressed sales sold 1.00

to 3.00 lower from 245.00 to 249.00.
