Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 7/11/2014



On Friday trading was very limited on light demand in the Southern Plains, Colorado

and the Western Cornbelt. Not enough sales for a full market trend in these regions.

In Nebraska trading was limited on light demand. Compared to the last reported market

on Thursday live sales sold unevenly steady at 155.00. Not enough dressed sales for a

market trend. On Thursday dressed sales sold mostly from 246.00-249.00. In the other 

major feeding regions the last reported market was on Thursday. In the Texas 

Panhandle live sales sold from 155.00-156.00. In Kansas live sales sold at 156.00. 

Live sales in Colorado sold at 156.50. The Western Cornbelt saw live sales from 

154.00-157.00 and dressed sales from 245.00-249.00.
