Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 7/25/14



Friday in the Texas Panhandle trade was limited on good demand. Few live sales sold 

at 165.00; however the bulk of the week's trade sold on Thursday at 162.00.

Friday in Kansas trade was moderate to active on very good demand. Compared to 

Thursday live sales sold 3.00 higher with the bulk at 165.00. Trade was moderate in 

Nebraska and light in Colorado on very good demand. In Nebraska compared to Thursday 

live sales sold steady to firm with sales from 163.50-166.00. On Thursday dressed 

sales sold mostly at 257.00 with a few up to 262.00. In Colorado compared to 

Thursday, live sales sold 1.00 higher at 166.00. In the Western Cornbelt on Friday, 

trade was light on light to moderate demand. On Thursday live sales sold from 160.00-

163.00 with dressed sales at 257.00.
