Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Monday, 7/28/2014

On Monday, negotiated cash trade was inactive on light demand in all feeding regions.

Not enough sales in any feeding region for an adequate market trend. The last full 

market reported in the Texas Panhandle was last week with a few live sales mostly at

162.00. In Kansas last week, live sales sold from 162.00-165.00. In Nebraska for the 

previous week, the bulk of the live sales sold at 165.00 with the bulk of dressed 

sales from 255.00-257.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales sold from 165.00-166.00. 

In the Western Cornbelt for the previous week, live sales sold mostly from 160.00-

162.00 with dressed sales mostly from 254.00-255.00.
