Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 8/6/2014



For Wednesday negotiated cash trading was inactive on very light demand in the 

Southern Plains, Colorado and Western Cornbelt. In Nebraska limited trading on very

light demand was seen. A few live sales sold at 164.00. However, not enough sales 

for a market trend in any feeding region. Last week in the Texas Panhandle live sales

sold at 162.00 with a light test. In Kansas live sales sold at 163.00. The prior week

in Nebraska live sales sold from 162.00-164.00 and dressed sales from 255.00-258.00. 

In Colorado live sales sold at 164.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt 

live sales sold from 161.00-163.00 and dressed sales from 254.00-255.00.
