Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Monday, 8/11/14

On Monday negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive on light demand in all feeding 

regions. The latest established market in the Texas Panhandle was last week, with 

live sales from 158.00-160.00. In Kansas for the previous week, live sales sold at 

160.00. Last week in Nebraska, live sales sold from 158.00-164.00 with dressed sales 

mostly from 250.00-252.00. In Colorado last week, live sales sold from 160.00-160.50. 

In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales sold from 157.00-160.50 with dressed 

sales mostly from 248.00-250.00.
