Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 9/5/2014



On Friday in the Texas Panhandle available negotiated cash sales sold 6.00 to 8.00

higher from 161.00 to 163.00. In Kansas trading was moderate on moderate to good

demand. Compared to last week live sales sold 8.00 higher at 163.00. Dressed sales

sold at 256.50. Friday in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt saw trading moderate on

light to moderate demand. In Nebraska compared to last week live sales sold 5.00 to

6.00 higher from 160.00 to 164.00. Dressed sales sold 7.00 higher at 252.00. Compared

to the prior week in the Western Cornbelt live sales sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher from 

159.00 to 160.00. Dressed sales sold 5.00 to 7.00 higher from 250.00 to 252.00. In

Colorado Friday saw available negotiated cash sales sold 6.00 to 9.00 higher at 

164.00.
