Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 10/3/2014



Friday in the Texas Panhandle available cash sales sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher at

mostly at 162.00 when compared to two weeks ago. In Kansas, Northern Plains and

the Western Cornbelt on Friday trading was moderate on moderate demand. In

Kansas compared to two weeks ago live sales sold from 1.00 to 3.00 higher mostly

at 162.00. In Nebraska compared to last week live sales sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher

from 160.00 to 163.00 mostly from 160.00 to 162.00. Dressed sales sold 4.00 to

7.00 higher mostly at 252.00. Compared to last week in Colorado live sales sold

4.00 higher at 163.00. Compared to two weeks ago in the Western Cornbelt live

sales sold moslty 5.00 to 6.00 higher at 160.00. Dressed sales sold mostly 6.00

to 8.00 higher at 252.00.
