Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 10/15/2014

On Wednesday negotiated cash trading and demand were moderate in the Texas Panhandle.

In Kansas trading was moderate to active on good demand. Compared to last week live

sales sold steady at 164.00 in the Southern Plains. In Nebraska and the Western

Cornbelt trading and demand were moderate on Wednesday. Compared to last week in

Nebraska live sales sold 1.00 lower at 164.00 with a few up at 165.00. Dressed sales

sold steady at 258.00. In the Western Cornbelt when compared to the prior week live 

and dressed sales sold steady from 163.00-164.00 and dressed at 258.00, a few live 

sales sold at 165.00. On Wednesday in Colorado a few available negotiated cash sales

sold at 165.00, which is steady with last week. However, not enough sales to fully

establish a marekt trend.
