Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 10/31/2014



Friday trading in Kansas was slow to moderate with light to moderate demand. Compared

to last week live sales sold 2.00 lower at 168.00. In Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota on

Friday trading was slow with light demand. Compared to last week in Nebraksa live 

sales sold 2.00 lower at 168.00 and dressed sales sold steady to 3.00 lower from 

262.00 to 265.00. In Iowa/Minnesota compared to the prior week live sales sold 3.00

to 3.50 lower from 166.50 to 167.00 and dressed sales sold steady to 1.00 lower 

from 263.00 to 265.00. In the Texas Panhandle and Colorado on Friday very few 

available cash sales sold. In both regions a very light test of live sales sold at

168.00. A light test was noted in all major feedging regions.
