SC Farm Report on Friday
***Livestock auctions closed due to Christmas and New Year Holidays and
will reopen the week of Jan 7th***.
Hogs on Thursday. Plant delivered weighted average. National
directBarrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-400 lbs 62.06, up 0.08. Sows
live price 300-450 lbs 47.30; 450-500 lbs 55.98; 500-550 lbs 57.25.
SC Grain on Friday: Corn was mostly 2 to 3 cents higher; processor
bids 7.14-7.89. Soybeans were 5 to 7 cents higher, processor bid 13.99,
export bid n/a. New Crop Wheat was 2 to 6 cents higher; elevator bids
6.93-7.45, Columbia at 7.75.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was at 72.16,
