Slaughter Cattle Open, Mid-Session and Close for 06/04/2014  



Receipts:  160



   Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold fully steady to 3.00 higher with 

slaughter bulls trading 2.00-3.00 higher.  Slaughter steers and heifers were not 

tested. 



   Slaughter Cows:

Breaking         70-80    98.00-103.50    102.00-105.50    95.00-95.50 

Boning           80-85    97.00-105.50    104.00-108.50    85.00-95.00       

Lean             85-90    90.00-100.00    100.00-105.00    75.00-90.00       



   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1200-2300 lbs 115.00-120.00, high dressing 

125.00-128.50, indiv 135.00, low dressing 102.00-106.00.



   Feeder/Stocker Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-4 year old open cows and 

heiferettes (mostly black) 950-1050 lbs 118.00-140.00.
