Slaughter Cattle Open, Mid-Session and Close for 07/02/2014  



Receipts:  150



   Compared to last week, a nice offering of slaughter cows sold firm to 2.00 

higher with instances 4.00 higher on high dressing cows.  Slaughter bulls traded 

steady.  Slaughter steers and heifers were not tested.

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1350-2050 lbs 118.00-128.00.



   Feeder/Stocker Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-4 year old open cows and 

heiferettes (mostly black) few 2 years 975-1000 lbs 145.00-146.00; 800-1070 lbs 

119.00-131.50.



   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2 few 6 years to short and solid 1300-1475 lbs 

2nd stage 1475.00-1700.00.
