Slaughter Cattle Open, Mid-Session, and Close for 07/23/2014  



Receipts:  100



   Compared to last week, a light test of slaughter cows sold very uneven with 

the bulk trading slightly higher and high dressing cows slightly lower. 

Slaughter bulls were fully steady.  Slaughter steers and heifers were not 

tested. 



   Slaughter Cows:

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1435-1840 lbs 120.00-133.00, couple high 

dressing 140.00.



   Feeder/Stocker Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-4 year old open cows and 

heiferettes (mostly black) few 900-960 lbs 131.00-144.00.



   Replacement Bulls: Indiv 2-3 years old 1220 lbs 2500.00 per head.
