Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/21/2012
There will be no sale at the Tulsa Stockyards next week
in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.
Receipts: 3042 Last Week: 2185 Last year: 2285
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to
2.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves 2.00-6.00 lower except;
over 575 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher. Quality average to attractive
few plain. Supply included 21 percent over 600 lbs. with 40
percent heifers.
Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Total of 519 cows and
bulls sold with 59 percent going to packers. Stock cows in
good demand.
