Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/11/2013
Receipts: 1891 Last Week: 1966 Last Year: 844
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 3.00-5.00 lower.
Steer and heifer calves 3.00-10.00 lower, with steer calves over 450 lbs
at the most decline, instance of up to 15.00 lower. Offerings included
large numbers of fleshy un-weaned calves as well as a large offering of
bull calves. Supply included 29 percent over 600 lbs and 38 percent
heifers.
Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady. Total of 257 cows and
bulls sold with 50 percent going to packers.
