Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far for Friday negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive in the Southern and
Northern Plains as well as the Western Corbelt. Not enough sales in any feeding
region for an adequate market test. The latest established market in the Southern
Plains was on Tuesday with live sales at 122.00. In Colorado on Tuesday live sales
traded at 123.00 on a light test. On Wednesday in Nebraska live sales traded from
121.00-123.00 with dressed sales from 193.00-194.00. In the Western Cornbelt on
Wednesday live sales traded from 120.50-122.25 with dressed sales from 192.00-194.00.
