Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Tuesday
Thus far for Tuesday negotiated cash trade was inactive on light demand in the
Southern and Northern Plains as well as the Western Cornbelt. Not enough sales in any
feeding region for an adequate market test. The latest established market was last
week with live sales at 122.00 in the Southern Plains. Last week in Nebraska, live
sales traded from 121.00-123.00 with dressed sales from 193.00-194.00. In Colorado
last week, live sales traded at 123.00. In the Western Cornbelt for the previous
week, live sales traded from 121.00-122.00 with dressed sales from 192.00-194.00.
