Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday
Thus far for Thursday trading in the Southern Plains has been very limited on very
light demand. A few sales sold steady with the bulk of Wednesday at 122.00. In
Nebraska and Iowa-Minnesota trading has been slow on light demand. In Nebraska a
light test of dressed sales sold from 198.00 to 201.00, Wednesday's bulk sold from
194.00 to 195.00. Live sales on Wednesday sold from 122.00 to 123.50. In Iowa-
Minnesota live sales sold mostly steady from 122.00 to 124.00 with a few up to
127.00. Dressed sales sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher from 196.00 to 200.00. In Colorado
trading and demand were mostly inactive. Wednesday saw live sales at 122.00.
