Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far for Friday, negotiated cash trade and demand was moderate in the Texas
Panhandle. Compared to last week, live sales traded 1.00 higher at 120.00. In Kansas
trade was moderate to active on moderate to good demand. Compared to last week, live
sales traded mostly steady at 120.00. In Nebraska trade was moderate on moderate to
good demand. Compared to last week, dressed sales traded steady to firm from 192.00-
195.00 with the bulk of sales at 194.00. Compared to last week, live sales traded
mostly 1.00 higher from 121.00-123.00. In Colorado trade was light on moderate to
good demand with a few live sales at 123.00. In the Western Cornbelt, trade was
moderate on moderate to good demand. Few early live sales traded from 121.00-123.00
with dressed sales from 194.00-195.00.
