Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far on Friday, negotiated cash trade was light on light demand in all major
feeding regions. Not enough for an adequate market trend. The last established
market was Thursday. In the Texas Panhandle, live sales sold at 128.00. In Kansas,
live sales sold from 127.00 to 129.00, with the bulk of the trade at 128.00. In
Nebraska on Thursday, live sales sold from 127.00 to 129.00, with the bulk of the
trade at 128.00. Dressed sales sold from 203.00 to 204.00, with the bulk of the
trade at 204.00. In Colorado, live sales sold at 129.00. In the Western Cornbelt on
Thursday, live sales sold from 126.00 to 128.00. Dressed sales sold from 202.00 to
204.00, with the bulk of the trade from 202.00 to 203.00.
