Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday

Thus far for Wednesday, negotiated cash trade was inactive on light demand in the 
Southern and Northern Plains with limited trade on light demand in the Western 
Cornbelt. Not enough sales in any feeding region for an adequate market test. The 
latest established market was last week with live sales at 150.00 in the Texas 
Panhandle. In Kansas last week, live sales sold from 150.00-152.00. In Nebraska 
for the previous week, live sales sold from 152.00-154.00 with dressed sales from 
244.00-245.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales sold at 154.00. In the Western 
Cornbelt last week, live sales sold mostly at 152.00 with dressed sales mostly from 
242.00-244.00.
