Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 4/6/2012
In the Southern Plains on Friday trading was inactive on very light demand.
Not enough sales for a market trend. In the Texas Panhandle Tuesday was the
last reported market with live sales at 122.00. A light test of lives sales
sold from 122.00 to122.50 on Wednesday. In Kansas on Tuesday live sales sold
at 122.00. In the Northern Plains on Friday trading was mostly inactive on
very light demand. Not enough sales for a market trend. Wednesday was the the
last reported market in Nebraska with live sales from 121.00 to 123.00 and
dressed sales at 193.00 to 194.00. In Colorado on Tuesday a light test of live
sales sold at 123.00. Friday in the Western Cornbelt trading was very limited
on very light demand. Not enough sales for a market trend. The last reported
market was Wednesday with live sales from 120.50 to 122.25 and dressed sales
from 192.00 to 194.00.
