Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Monday, 2/4/13
On Monday, negotiated cash trade was at a standstill in the Southern and Norhern
Plains. In the Western Cornbelt trading was mostly inactive. Not enough sales for
an adequate market trend. The last established market was last week. In the Southern
Plains, live sales sold at 125.00. In Nebraska, live sales sold from 125.00 to
126.00, with dressed sales sold mostly at 202.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales
sold at 125.00. In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales sold from 125.00 to
127.00. Dressed sales sold from 200.00 to 202.00.
