Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Thursday, 4/25/13

On Thursday, negotiated cash trade in the Southern Plains was limited on very 
light demand.  Not enough sales for an adequate market trend.  The last established 
market was last week with live sales selling at 126.00. In Nebraska trading was light 
on light demand. Not enough sales to establish an adequate market trend. The last 
fully established market was last week with live sales from 126.00-127.00 and dressed 
sales from 200.00-202.00. In Colorado, trading was at a standstill. The last 
established market was last week with live sales at 127.00. In the Western Cornbelt, 
trading was light on light demand. A few early live sales sold from 127.00-128.00, 
however there were not enough sales to establish an adequate market. The last fully 
established market was last week with live sales selling from 125.00-126.00 on a 
light test. Dressed sales sold from 197.00-202.00.
