NATIONAL BOXED BEEF CUTOUT
Boxed Beef cutout values lower on light to moderate demand and moderate
to heavy offerings. Select and Choice rib cuts steady while chuck, round
and loin cuts weak to lower. Beef trimmings higher on moderate to fairly
good demand and moderate offerings.
Estimated composite cutout value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs
carcasses DN 2.36 at 189.84; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses
DN 1.75 at 182.61; based on 82.44 loads of Choice cuts, 50.80
loads of Select cuts, 25.74 loads of Trimmings, and 34.81
loads of coarse ground trimmings.
CARCASS PRICE EQUIVALENT INDEX VALUE
Estimated carcass price equivalent value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs
carcasses DN 1.73 at 181.19; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses DN 1.43

The Cutter cow carcass gross cutout value was estimated at 163.63

Hide and offal from a typical slaughter steer was estimated at
13.53, UNCHANGED.
NATIONAL CARLOT PORK
Sales reported on 62.71 loads of pork cuts and 6.0 loads of
trim/process pork.
Compared to Thursday's Close: Fresh 1/4" trimmed bone-in loins
steady; butts steady; sknd hams 20-27 lbs generally 2.00 higher;
sdls bellies along with lean trimmings not tested. Trading moderate,
with light to moderate demand and offerings.
