U.S. sow prices dropped by $5.90 to $52.20 per cwt. Missouri posted the largest loss as prices decreased by $7.00 to $49.30, which is $1.88 higher than Missouri's average for this year.

Hog Prices By U.S. & State

U.S. hog prices fell by $4.20 to $57.00 per cwt, marking the second straight month that prices have dropped. North Carolina and South Dakota posted the largest losses, dropping by $4.50 and $4.80 respectively to $57.40 and $56.50.

U.S. beef cattle prices dropped $1.80 to $92.40 Cwt. this month. The average beef cattle price is $3.30 below this year's high, but still remains above this year's average price of $89.08 Cwt. Montana and South Dakota beef cattle prices continue to increase this month.

Corn Prices By U.S. & State

The average U.S. corn price increased by $0.70 to $4.78 per bushel this month which set a new high for the year. Texas posted the largest increase out of all states as prices climbed $0.99 to $5.17 per bushel, setting a new high and is $1.09 above this year's average price. Milk Prices By U.S. & State

Milk prices increased by 60 cents nationally to 18.30 cwt. The national price increased by $3.90/cwt over October 2009. Prices have increased nationally for six months in a row, rising $3.70 in that amount of time. Milk is at its highest point of the year and only 10 cents below the 27-month high.

The U.S. average retail gasoline price increased b y $0.02 to $2.83 per gallon, setting a new 10 week high. Central Atlantic and West Coast gas prices moved $0.05 to $2.85 and $3.08 per gallon respectively. Ohio prices suffered steepest declines as prices fell $0.09 to $2.78 per gallon.

Pork prices continue to set new highs. Bacon prices increased by $0.22 to $4.57 per lb, setting a new yearly high. Bacon prices have now increased for five consecutive months. Pork chop prices increased $0.04 to $3.33 per lb which is a new yearly high. Ham prices jumped $0.04 ceets to $2.50 per pound, setting a new yearly high, while climbing for five consecutive months.
