Retail Pork Prices - Bacon Prices Continue To Soar

Bacon prices increased by $0.22 to $4.57 per lb, setting a new yearly high. Bacon prices have now increased for five consecutive months. Pork chop prices increased $0.04 to $3.33 per lb which is a new yearly high. Ham prices jumped $0.04 ceets to $2.50 per pound, setting a new yearly high, while climbing for five consecutive months. Retail Beef Prices Increase After Falling For Two Straight Months

The average retail beef price increased by $0.05 last month to $3.99. Ground chuck prices increased by $0.06 to $2.91 per pound which remains below this year's average price of $2.96 per pound. Uncooked beef roasts climbed $0.08 to $4.05 per pound, setting a new yearly high.

Dairy Products Prices: Butter Down, Cheese Up

Soybean Prices By U.S. & State

The U.S. average soybean price fell by $0.16 to $9.94 per bushel and now sits $0.16 below the yearly high, set in August. Kentucky was the biggest gainer this month where prices increased by $0.10 to $10.10.

Barrow & Gilt Prices By U.S. & State

The U.S. average barrow and gilt price dropped by $0.50 to $61.00 per CWT this month, $8.27 below this year's average. North Carolina saw the largest drop in prices, falling $1.80 to $61.30.

Steer Prices By U.S. & State
