Cattle Receipts: 2263 Last week: 2620 Last year: 2687
As compared to the previous week: Feeder steers and bulls steady to 2.00
lower; feeder heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows made up 15 percent
of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, replacement cows 5 percent, other
cows 2 percent, and feeders 76 percent. The feeder supply included 32 percent
steers, 37 percent heifers, and 31 percent bulls. Near 20 percent of the run
weighed over 600 lbs. (Figures in parentheses are weighted average weights and
prices for each category)
