Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/13/2013
Receipts: 3839 Last Week: 6445 Year Ago: 3678
Compared to the last week: Feeder steers 6.00-9.00 lower. Feeder
heifers 3.00-6.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves 6.00-8.00 lower.
Demand remains good despite heavy declines on the CME board within
recent weeks. Heavy snowfall this week provided some much needed
relief for area pastures. Quality was moderate to mostly attractive.
Supply included 73 percent over 600 lbs; 38 percent heifers.
